Hi, I’m Chrissy Whelton, a lifestyle photographer based in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. I’ve always been someone who notices the little things — the natural smiles, the small gestures, and the moments that feel honest and unfiltered. Photography became my way of capturing those pieces of life, not just for myself, but for others who want to remember the moments that matter most.
My faith plays a big role in how I view photography. I believe life is made up of countless blessings, both big and small, and that the people we love most are some of God's greatest gifts. Capturing those memories and preserving them for years to come is something I feel truly grateful to do.
My work is inspired by warm light, natural connection, and a relaxed approach that allows you to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I focus on bright, clean, true-to-color images that highlight personality and emotion without over posing or pressure. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, welcoming a new baby, updating portraits, or simply wanting to document your life as it is right now, I aim to create photos that feel genuine, timeless, and full of heart.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my family, serving at church, enjoying the Florida sunshine, or learning something new to grow creatively. Connecting with people and helping them feel confident during their session is truly one of my favorite parts of this work.

More Than Enough
Some photographs stay with me long after the session is over. This was one of them. A simple reminder that our worth isn't found in what we accomplish, how we look, or what others think of us. We are already deeply loved by the One who created us.
